National Honor Society

I attend various events at school and moderate activities. In addition, I analyze students, report on student-related issues, and tutor elementary students.

Summer Physics Camp

Explored careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Conducted hands-on experiments.  participated in discussions with female scientists and engineers from Los Alamos National Laboratory (NM), Sandia National Laboratories (NM), and more.

  • Engineering and prototyping an anaerobic digestive system that manages waste production and reduces hydrocarbon emissions using a methanogenesis system.
New Mexico state varsity Speech and Debate champion 2021
  • As a National qualifier in the Duo interpretation portion of Speech and Debate, I extensively practiced and memorized a script approved by the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA), virtually performed before judges to adjudicate my performance, originality, message, length, and interaction.
First place designing the Best STEM system using Biomimicry and sustainable 2021​
  • Researching and developing a design that incorporated Biomimicry to create a sustainable and self-sufficient machine to attract bees, recycle materials, solve water waste issues, and include distinguished amounts of mathematics.
Second place in Aquatics, Wildlife, and Forestry. First Place Oral Scenario for New Mexico Envirothon during 2020-2021.
  • I completed training and testing in five natural resource categories: soils, forestry, aquatic ecology, wildlife, and a current environmental issue, which changes every year. Compete in developing solutions to environmental problems and resolving natural resource issues.

  • Developing an alternative toothpaste to combat maxillary and mandibular discoloration and decay.
 First Place in Taos, New Mexico’s municipal school’s junior district division, Second place at Highlands University, and first place in “New Mexico Network for Women in Science and Engineering” junior division at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology 2016.
  • Analyzing the effects of sodium chloride deprived from road salt on indigenous Plantae in New Mexico.​

  • Develop technique, patience, and style specific to the violin­—practice reading sheet music and study music theory. In addition, rehearse in preparation for performances.
